The medical device production system, by introducing automated equipment and intelligent control systems, realizes the automation and intelligentization of production processes, providing strong support for the sustainable development of the medical device industry. To better understand the market demand for medical device production systems in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, this study analyzes consumer price sensitivity, obtains detailed information on consumers' price sensitivity and acceptance, collects and calculates demand elasticity data of relevant medical device production systems, to help enterprises set more appropriate prices based on market conditions and consumer preferences and maximize profits. For example, when the price elasticity of demand is relatively high, enterprises can adopt the pricing strategy of "small profits but quick turnover".
1. Data Collection: Collect the demand data and price data of relevant medical device production systems in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province over a certain period of time, to obtain the year-on-year change in demand △Q and year-on-year change in price △P of such medical device production systems.
2. Algorithm Rules: Calculate the collected data according to the following formula: the demand elasticity coefficient Ep = -(△Q/Q) ÷ (△P/P), to obtain the demand elasticity coefficient. In the formula: Q represents the demand of the product, with the unit of piece; P represents the price of the product, with the unit of yuan; △Q represents the year-on-year change in demand, with the unit of piece; △P represents the year-on-year change in price, with the unit of yuan. Take the absolute value |Ep| of the demand elasticity coefficient as the reference coefficient for data analysis.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze the price elasticity of demand of the medical device production system based on the value of |Ep|.
