资源简介:
Abstract We analyze the insertion of the Latin American immigrants in the labor market of the United States in a post-crisis scenario. Our thesis is that two structural processes determine the labor situation of migrants: (i) the polarization of the structure of occupations, and (ii) the racialization of class structure and social inequality. Racism and ethnic discrimination have always been part of the social structure of the United States, what is relevant in today's age is the size and magnitude they reach, as well as the trends that are estimated for the next decades.
