This dataset was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), including 337 3D models sourced from an online digital art repository. Its primary purpose is to provide challenging test cases for parameterization algorithms in real-world applications. All models in the dataset are equipped with artist-designed parameterizations, enabling direct comparisons between automated parameterization methods and artist-provided UV mappings. The applicable fields of this dataset include mesh texturing, remeshing, mesh repair, and mesh editing, among others. The core goal is to evaluate the performance of parameterization methods through real user assessments of computational results.
