资源简介:
Prevalence of allergic diseases have dramatically increased over the last few decades. In allergy-induced asthma, microbiota of airway are found to play an important role. For understanding the relationship between bacteria flora and asthma, we comprehensively examined microbiota profiles in the nose during exacerbation of childhood asthma. At total of 56 asthmatic children were enrolled and their clinical profiles were recorded. For each asthmatic child, microbes in the nose, throat and stool were collected during asthma attack. About two weeks after steroid treatment, i.e., in the recovery phase, microbial samples were collected again from the same 56 asthmatics. The 320 samples were subjected to DNA extraction and 16S rRNA sequencing analysis. Contact: ooxx910127@gmail.com. This submission was powered by METAGENOTE (https://metagenote.niaid.nih.gov).
