Comparing Avg Foraging Time of Birds in an Urban Setting.pages

The data set being examined is the raw data collected over two separate days to observe for foraging patterns of birds in an urban region. It was specifically observed which birds were seen above foraging compared to ground foraging and how long each bird set had been foraging for. This raw data was collected and observed through setting up two different kinds of bird feeders on two separate days, one that was on the ground (to observe time for ground foragers) and one that was set up 6ft directly above where the ground feeder was on the first day to observe time spent above foraging. Birds found within the radius of the backyard of study were also observed for behaviours to understand how different birds interact in this sort of environment and how it may affect foraging as well. The meta data depicted here shows the steps involved in retrieving the raw data for replication purposes.
