资源简介:
This dataset contains 21 interview transcripts collected as part of a qualitative study on residents’ perceptions, experiences, and behavioural adaptation practices during periods of consecutive warm summer days in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The interviews explored how participants understand heat-related risks, how they experience heat in everyday life, and what personal, technological, cultural, and spatial practices they use to cope with warm weather. The interview protocol was structured around three main thematic domains: hazard perception, behavioural adaptation, and spatial practices. Hazard perception included questions on attitudes, beliefs, knowledge, and personal experiences of heat events. Behavioural adaptation included questions on personal adjustments, technological adjustments, cultural adjustments, and spatial practices related to the private indoor, private outdoor, public indoor, and public outdoor spaces. All interviews were conducted with informed consent and in compliance with TU Delft ethical standards. Personal identifiers have been removed from the transcripts to protect participant anonymity.
