Attitudes and feeling about respect in close interpersonal relationships

There are two samples in the dataset. Sample 1 includes 215 college students recruited via Intro to Pshchology course at NCSU from July to October 2019. They were asked to rate their attitudes about respect and describe their recent experiences of respect and disrespect in close relationships in detail. Sample 2 included 220 students (M=19.54 years old, SD= 2.57; 59.1% female; 62.7% White, 13.2% Asian, 6.8% Black, 5.9% Asian American, 5.5% Biracial, 3.6% Latinx, 2.3% from other groups) participating from late April to late August 2020. They were also asked to rate their attitudes about respect and also describe their experience of being respected, disrespected and feeling respect in close interpersonal relationships.
