资源简介:
Genetically selected PROGENSA animals (GS) and a reference population (REF), showing significant genetic differences, were employed here. The sequencing reads of this BioProject shows the resulting reads of a dietary challenge in the offspring of both genetic lines. After approximately 5 months of common standard feeding, experimental diets were administered to the fish. One was similar to that offered to the parents (FUTURE diet), with low levels of fish meal and fish oil, and another one contained a greater content of these traditional marine products (CTRL diet). The aim of this study was to translate broodstock nutritional programming to offspring epigenetic marks by integrating whole transcriptomics and DNA methylation patterns (untargeted approach) in gilthead sea bream with different genetic background.
