资源简介:
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) undermines the prevention and remedy of an increasing type of infections caused by microorganisms. Antimicrobial tolerance arises as microorganisms (such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites) alter when they are exposed to antimicrobial drugs (such as antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals, antimalarials, and anthelmintic) and as a result drugs become ineffective and disease is not cured, raising the risk of transmission to others. In the recent times, antibiotics are typically used for ailment manage and raising of livestock. Antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARBs) and Antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) are found to be the most prevalent contaminants that endanger the entire ecosystem. Improper disposition leads to the production of antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARBs) and Multi-drug resistant bacteria (MDR). It is been described as a major public health issue by The World Health Organization (WHO) The study deals with the collection of water samples from the pharmaceutical discharge points in Bangalore and analyzing the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients present along with the metagenome profiling to track the presence of organisms causing the Antimicrobial resistance.
