In the background on the right missionaries Reusch and Blumer and other persons.; Cf. photo no. 496, album no. 19. -- Richard Reusch (born 1891), from Baratajewka at the river Volga, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor in Arusha, Nkoaranga and Marangu from 1923 to 1938 (apart from home leave in 1930-1931). He was president of the Lutheran Church Council of Tanzania. -- Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
