资源简介:
The Hawaiian crow (Corvus hawaiiensis) is one of the world's most endangered bird species, and the focus of an extensive breeding and reintroduction program after its extinction in the wild. This high-quality, long-read genome assembly provides an important resource to study the evolution of this species and aid in its conservation. These objectives will benefit from the development of genome-wide markers, a better understanding of the genetic basis of inbreeding depression, and the investigation of unique adaptations in this species, including tool-use.
