Inupiaq and Gwitch'in Plant Presence in Stories and Legends, 2007-2008

This dataset was developed with the intention of gauging the relative presence of plants or types of plants (eg. forbs, shrubs, etc.) within a selection of the stories and legends of the Gwitch'in and Inupiaq peoples. All stories were published, and most originated from actual conversations with Gwitch'in and Inupiaq elders. Literature was also reviewed, including modern fiction, written by modern Gwitch'in and Inupiaq authors.
