Rhizoctonia solani is an important soil-borne fungal pathogen that causes serious diseases on multiple agricultural crops and vegetables. Here, we report a complete genome assembly of R. solani AG4 (Assembly: 53.9 Mb; contig N50: 1.99 Mb), using a combination of illumina pare end and Pacbio long-read sequencing data. A total of 12,534 genes were predicted, including 313 non-coding RNAs, 111 genes associated carbohydrate-active enzymes and 3054 genes involved host-pathogen in interactions. The complete genome lays a valuable foundation for studying the interactions between host plants with pathogenic fungus and for searching potential` antimicrobial targets.
