资源简介:
Faced with the feeding of Spodoptera exigua, some quinoa cultivars have the characteristics of avoiding or reducing damage and having compensatory ability after being harmed. The resistance mechanisms of different quinoa (Dianli-1415, Dianli-1910, and Dianli-598) to Spodoptera exigua were analyzed through multi-omics analysis. Metabolome and transcriptome analysis of different resistant quinoa indicate that resistant (healthy) quinoa has a significant competitive advantage when competing with susceptible (damaged) quinoa. It was also verified that defense enzyme activities and secondary metabolite accumulation were significantly higher in quinoa resistant cultivars than in susceptible cultivars, and that feeding of quinoa leaves by S. exigua caused activation of the plant JA signaling pathway, and that this hormone coordinated the defense response against S. exigua. Overexpression of LOC110730184 and LOC110732543 genes in transgenic Arabidopsis resulted in high expression and significant accumulation of jasmonic acid, enhancing the resistance of transgenic Arabidopsis to S. exigua feeding. It is shown that the transcription and expression of LOC110730184 and LOC110732543 genes are key transcriptional regulators that regulate JA signaling genes with conserved functions in quinoa.
