资源简介:
These data were used to support the results and conclusions of the article titled 'Low-intensity millimeter waves ameliorate cognitive impairment induced by chronic REM sleep deprivation in rats by regulating the CaMKII-CREB-BDNF pathway'. The results suggest that low-intensity MMWT can ameliorate cognitive impairment induced by CRSD. This effect may be attributed to its ability to enhance the synaptic structural plasticity and increase the levels of CaMKII, p-CaMKII, CREB, p-CREB, BDNF, SYP and PSD95 in the hippocampus. The data collected include the rats' body weight, their performance in Y maze, OFT, and NOR experiments, the number of neurons, density of dendritic spines, and ultrastructure damage in the rat hippocampus, as well as the expression of CaMKII, p-CaMKII, CREB, p-CREB, BDNF, SYP and PSD95 proteins in the rat hippocampus.
