mRNA seq for determining differential expression of mRNAs in the heart in cancer cachexia

Seven week C57BL6 male mice were injected with LLC1 lung adenocarcinoma cells or vehicle. Fourteen days later cardiac tissue was harvested for RNA isolation. Overall design: Control or experimental male mice received vehicle or tumor cells. Fourteen days following implantation of cells or administration of vehicle, cardiac function was assessed by echocardiography and following euthanasia ventricular tissue was dissected for isolation of RNA.
