MIG-seq analysis of Geranium onoei (Geraniaceae)

Geranium onoei (Geraniaceae) is perennial herb and morphologically similar to the related species G. erianthum. Only one molecular study of these species has been reported, but the prior phylogenetic analyses failed to detect genetic differences between G. onoei and G. erianthum due to lack of genetic polymorphisms. We performed multiplexed inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) genotyping-by-sequencing (MIG-seq). These data will contribute to reveal phylogenetic relationship of G. onoei and G. erianthum. However, MIG-seq results of G. erianthum were already deposited in the DNA Data Bank of Japan (DDBJ accession number: DRA010651).
