Supporting Data for "The Dynamics of Human-AI Co-Creation: An Investigation of Design Tensions in Cultural and Creative Design through a Case of Yanchuan Patchwork"

This dataset accompanies a qualitative human-computer interaction study of human-AI co-creation in cultural and creative design using Yanchuan Patchwork as a case. The public materials include de-identified participant characteristics, interview and focus-group guides, processed English expert and cultural heritage professional interview records, processed designer focus-group records, expert scene ratings, workshop observation notes, selected group design presentations, and participant-authorized GenAI interaction records contained in those presentations. Original audio recordings, raw Chinese source materials, direct identifiers, sign-in records, identity crosswalks, one expert interview withheld at the participant’s request, interviews with two technical personnel, complete annotation records, complete source-image collections, LoRA training and configuration materials, model files and checkpoints, and non-authorized interaction records are not publicly shared. These restrictions protect participant confidentiality, cultural-data rights and stewardship interests, third-party interests, and technical intellectual property.
