资源简介:
The ROS Lights (SN 70112 70109) was deployed on 2019-09-16 at Barkley Canyon. Barkley Canyon is a submarine canyon located on the continental shelf and slope break. Features include exposed gas hydrates and their associated ecosystems. Accumulation and movement of sediment, upwelling, and plankton blooms are studied in this area. This device is a Camera Lights. Camera lights are used to improve visibility where cameras are deployed. Light controls and schedules can be remotely-controlled from on-shore using software. The length of time that lights are on is limited in order to minimize impact on the environment. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
