Gene expression data from left ventricular free wall of male adult Macaca fascicularis with and without chronic atrioventricular block

We studied time course of pathological remodeling occurring in the hearts of cynomolgus monkey, Macaca fascicularis against atrioventricular block condition. We used microarrays to detail the pathological changes in the hearts which had obtained sensitivity for detecting dl-sotalol-induced TdP by 7th month after the production of atrioventricular block. The 14 male cynomolgus monkeys were divided into non-operated (intact) group (n=4) and operated (atrioventricular block) one (n=10). Two out of 10 operated monkeys had developed TdP ≥3 times in total by monthly dl-sotalol challenge by 7th month after the surgery, the left ventricular free wall of which were adopted to microarray assay together with ones of 4 non-operated monkeys.
