This study investigates how dietary L-carnosine affects glucose and lipid metabolism in the liver of zebrafish fed on a high carbohydrate diet. Zebrafish were fed normal starch feed (NSF), high starch feed (HSF), HSF with low L-carnosine (CAL), or HSF with high L-carnosine (CAH) for 10 weeks. Liver samples were collected, and gene expression was analyzed using RNA sequencing.
