SIngle slice from a through focus series through a medium spiny neuron
from the dorsal neostriatum of a wild type mouse. Neuron was stained by
intracellular injection of Lucifer Yellow, followed by photooxidation.
The flocculent material surrounding the neuron likely represents
photoconverted mitochondria or else debris generated by the
photoconversion process.
