mRNA profiles of Candida albicans SC5314 treated with compound 20 and untreated Candida albicans SC5314 were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq X Ten. The sequence reads that passed quality filters were analyzed at the transcript isoform level. qRT–PCR validation was performed using TB Green assay. We find that some genes in ribosomes pathaway such as YVH1, RPL12 and MRT4 were upregulated, which confirmed that Mrt4 is a valid target for cis-fumaramidmycin-derived compounds. Overall design: mRNA profiles of Candida albicans SC5314 treated with compound 20 and untreated Candida albicans SC5314 were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq X Ten.
