Micro-Flow LC-IMS-MS with High-Resolution Demultiplexing for More Comprehensive Lipidomics

This dataset contains untargeted lipidomics data acquired using a microflow liquid chromatography–ion mobility–mass spectrometry (microLC‑IMS‑MS) platform incorporating high‑resolution demultiplexing (HRdm). The study benchmarks this approach against conventional UPLC‑IMS‑MS and demonstrates enhanced sensitivity, signal‑to‑noise ratio, and lipid annotation coverage. The dataset includes analyses of: NIST SRM 1950 human plasma reference material Cultured human Müller glia cells (MIO‑M1) down to 10³ cells Vitreous humor samples from glaucoma patients and controls. All data files correspond to data-dependent acquisition (DDA) LC‑IM‑MS/MS experiments performed under the conditions described in this study. Files are systematically named to reflect: Acquisition type (DDA) Replicate number (iterative acquisitions) Sample type (NIST_1950, MIO-M1, vitreous humor) Specific experimental conditions (e.g., cell dilution level) Iterative Acquisitions For each sample and condition, three independent iterative acquisitions were performed to maximize annotation. Replicates are labeled numerically: 1, 2, 3. Cell Culture Samples (Low Cell Numbers) For experiments involving low cell numbers (10³ cells), additional variability due to sample preparation was controlled by performing independent preparation replicates. These are labeled using alphabetical identifiers: A, B, C.
