A price survey of strawberries weighing 1 kg across all supermarkets nationwide revealed that the average price in May 2024 was 2,018 yen. Over the period from January 2015 to May 2024 (a span of 59 months), the month with the highest strawberry price across the nation was December 2023, at 2,852 yen, whereas the month with the lowest price was April 2015, at 1,493 yen. The price difference between the peak (December 2023) and trough (April 2015) of strawberry prices across the national area was 1,359.4691 yen.
