资源简介:
Testing at the University of Hawaii @ Manoa as part of Project Task 2: Connector Development. This experiment is the second round of testing to establish the masonry capacity at through-bolt point loading. Steel link plates were slip-critically bolted to side plates, which were welded to a steel beam above the masonry wall specimens. A total of 11 reps were performed on 6 trial masonry wall specimens. In 5 of the specimens a single bolt was installed near the corner of the wall. Load was applied to the through-bolt toward the end of the wall until failure. The bond beam reinforcing and through-bolt location was varied from one rep to the next. For each of these five specimens, one rep tested the through-bolt at a distance of 12 inches from the end of the wall, the other rep tested the throughbolt located at 20 inches from the end of the wall. One of the specimens tested the effect of a 2 through-bolt group near the end of the wall: throughbolts were located at 12 inches and 28 inches from the end of the wall.
