This is associated data for the study "The population of craters that host permanently shadowed regions near the lunar south pole: Implications for typical cold-trap lifetimes" in PSJ. The large gpkg datafiles here are craters detected as part of this project across the south pole in illuminated areas of the LROC controlled south polar mosaic and on LOLA topography. Craters bigger than 1 km were primarily drawn from Robbins, 2019. Please see the associated manuscript for uncertainties and foibles associated with this catalog. Only craters larger than ~15m are statistically robust (though many smaller craters that are detected are real). The final yolo model is the .pt file here. The derived data and code zip files have code and data used for catalog creation and figure-making/analysis.
