In 2000-2001 the Macquarie Area Health Service prepared and released Service Profiles for each of the Health Services in that area.Each profile is around 12 pages long and includes statistical information:population profile (age, sex, Aboriginality, non-English speaking background, socio-economic status)health of the population (mortality, morbidity)patient activitypatient flows (transfers to and out of the area)staffing profile.The profiles take the form of small booklets and are arranged by hospital/service name.
