Escherichia coli MDR and non-MDR isolate genome sequencing and assembly

This study was aimed to investigate the emergence of multidrug resistant (MDR) microorganisms in the gut of ulcerative colitis (UC) patients and their role in the disease pathogenesis with the influence on overall gut microbiome composition and physiology of the human host. The study of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) present in the antibiotic resistant genes in genome of different resistant and susceptible bacterial isolates from healthy and UC patients was conducted.
