Transcriptome sequencing analysis (RNA-seq) of pectoral muscle tissues from 10-week-old sexually reversed Muscovy duck and male and female Muscovy duck revealed that in the sexually reversed Muscovy duck versus male Muscovy duck comparative group, there were a total of 275 differentiated genes, of which 38 were up-regulated and 237 were down-regulated; in the sexually reversed Muscovy duck versus female Muscovy duck comparative group, there were a total of 155 differentiated genes, of which 65 were up-regulated and 90 were down-regulated; in the comparison group of male and female Muscovy ducks, there were 151 differential genes, of which 102 were up-regulated and 49 were down-regulated. By GO and KEGG enrichment analysis, there were 10 differential genes related to muscle growth and development, including OGN, IGF1, MYOG, etc.; many differential genes were enriched to the cAMP signaling pathway
