This dataset contains complementary data for the publication "Behavior of volumetric core defects in friction extrusion of wire from Al-Cu alloy", such as optical and scanning electron microscopy images, raw data for machine logs and hardness testing as well as 2D/3D X-ray microtomography images and a video of the tooling setup in process.
