Plant populations with quadrat sampling

This data was collected in order to observe plant populations in grasslands at York University campus and become familiar with sampling tools such as quadrats and transects. Each group had 4 members, my group members included Khaula Sahi, Alexandra Nushis and Kathy Chan. The dataset I collected for was dataset 1 in grasslands, which basically used 25 random samples of quadrats being placed in the grassland, and observing total abundance of plants, total number of different plant species, total cover of all vegetation and total cover of grasses, within each quadrat. Data collected was variable, as quadrats were placed randomly. The experiment took place from 3-5 pm approximately.
