Processed data and analysis code for drought–flood abrupt alternation impacts on runoff and hydropower

This record contains the processed data and analysis code used to reproduce the main figures of the manuscript entitled “How Drought–Flood Abrupt Alternation Events Affect Hydropower and Water Resources in the Source Region of the Yangtze River: A Multi-Scale Identification and Response Analysis”. The dataset includes processed drought–flood abrupt alternation (DFAA) indices, lagged causality analysis results, runoff response statistics, hydropower response statistics, and figure-level data.

Original observed runoff and hydropower generation records are not included because they are subject to data-use restrictions. Publicly available input datasets, such as precipitation, soil moisture, and vegetation index products, should be obtained from their original data providers as cited in the associated manuscript.
