Social Media Grievance: Year- and Month-wise Number of Contents Reported and Removed on Koo by Language and by Top 3 Reasons

High Frequency Indicator: The dataset contains year- and month-wise compiled data from the year 2022 to till date on the content reporting done by the Koo social media community (users) and the content removed by Koo. The data compiled is based on the monthly transparency reports published by Koo in accordance with Rule 4(1)(d) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (IT Rules, 2021)

The content reported by community is categorised by Indian and English languages and the content removed by Koo is categorised by top three reasons for removal every month. The top 3 reasons for removal of content across different months include reasons such as Graphic, Obscene or Sexual content, Sexual Harassment, Abusive, illegal Activity, Privacy Invasion, Fake news, Nudity, Violence, etc.

高频指标数据集：本数据集收录了自2022年起至当前，由Koo社交媒体社区（用户）提交的内容举报数据以及Koo移除的内容数据，按年度与月份进行整理。数据整理依据Koo发布的月度透明度报告，该报告遵循《信息技术（中间人指导原则及数字媒体伦理规范）规则》2021年第四条第一款第（d）项（IT Rules, 2021）的规定。社区举报的内容按印度语和英语进行分类，而Koo移除的内容则按每月移除原因的前三大类别进行分类。不同月份内容移除的三大原因包括：图形内容、低俗或色情内容、性骚扰、侮辱性、非法活动、侵犯隐私、虚假信息、裸露、暴力等。
