Occupancy of synaptonemal complex at mouse genome

As the vital components of synaptonemal complex, SYCP3 plays an important role in meiosis by self-assembling into a special bilayer structure. Although SYCP3 has been widely studied, the genome-wide binding of SYCP3 remains largely unknown. In this study, we identified specific binding of SYCP3 in mouse spermatocytes and studied how its binding dynamics is regulated. Overall design: Mouse spermatocytes were collected from male mouse testis, followed by ChIP-seq assay to identify specific protein occupancy.
