资源简介:
We exploited the extraordinary ecomorphological diversity of squamates to assess brain phenotypic diversification with respect to locomotor specialization, by integrating transcriptomic data along with other methods. We reveal significant changes in cerebellar morphology as well as dynamic gene expression that all correlate with locomotor behaviours. RNA sequencing of adult cerebellum tissues from ten different squamate species, using NextSeq 500 platform (Illumina, U.S.A.). Conclusions is only based on the 630 orthologous genes (present in the current table) identified among all ten species analyzed. We have not used all genes in our work, but only orthologous genes.
