Convergent Microbial Community Assembly under Iron-driven Environmental Heterogeneity in Alpine Wetlands

We collected soil samples from four representative iron-rich alpine wetlands on the eastern Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. Based on 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing, iCAMP community assembly analysis, co-occurrence network construction, functional prediction, and physicochemical measurements, we examined microbial community assembly processes, core taxa, and functional profiles under iron-driven environmental heterogeneity.
