PSYCHOLINGUISTIC EXPRESSION OF CONFLICT AND CONFLICT IN THE SPEECH OF HEROES IN THE STORIES OF ABDULLAH QAHHOR

This article examines the psycholinguistic expression of conflict and contradictions in characters’ speech in the short stories of Abdulla Qahhor. The study focuses on the use of affective lexical units, evaluative expressions, and dialogic opposition in shaping conflict within literary discourse. Conflict is interpreted as a speech-based phenomenon, and its psychological foundations are analyzed. The findings demonstrate that conflict in Qahhor’s stories emerges not primarily through events, but through the emotional and expressive features of speech. Affective linguistic elements serve as key tools for intensifying and revealing contradictions in characters’ interactions. The study proposes a model of conflict development based on the interrelation between speech, emotion, contradiction, and social pressure. This research contributes to psycholinguistics and literary discourse studies by highlighting the role of language in reflecting cognitive and emotional processes, as well as social dynamics.
