Replication data for "Urbanization Policy and Economic Development: A Quantitative Analysis of China’s Differential Hukou Reforms"

This is the code and data to replicate the results in "Urbanization Policy and Economic Development: A Quantitative Analysis of China’s Differential Hukou Reforms" by Wen-Tai Hsu and Lin Ma. The code contains two parts: 1) FORTAN codes that solve the model with the executable, /code/main, and 2) the MATLAB wrapper codes that call the FORTRAN executable under various inputs and analyze the results. In this guide, we provide instructions on how to replicate our results using the MATLAB wrapper, as well as the structure of the FORTRAN codes. Please refer to the README file for detailed steps to replicate results in the paper.
