Atmopsheric Heat Transport climatology derived from atmopsheric reanalaysis (vertically and zonally integrated after mass flux correction)

Climatologies of zonally and vertically integrated northward heat transport in the atmosphere derived from 5 different sets of reanalysis: 1) NCEP; 2)ERA interim; 3)JRA; 4) MERRA 2 and 5) ERA5. Climatologies are computed over the 2000-2018 period. A mass flux correction is applied prioir to calculating the fluxes via removal of the vertical average moist static energy. All calculations are done from 6-hourly data on pressure levels, masking (time-invariant mask) for values below the surface pressure.
