The intestinal epithelium is constantly exposed to the intestinal microbiome. Here we used single cell RNA sequencing to reveal how murine small intestinal organoids and specific cell types react to stimulation with the bacterial metabolites Desaminotyrosin (DAT) and indole-3-carboxaldehyde (ICA) Overall design: Small intestinal organoids were isolated from WT or STING Goldenticket (GT) mice and stimulated for four days with the given metabolite. After 4 days organoids were dissagregated, sorted into single cells and profiled by single-cell RNA-seq. Expression profiles were compared to unstimulated control organoids
