资源简介:
Anonymised dataset from a quasi-experimental pre-post study evaluating the effectiveness of a brief Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training programme for secondary-school students in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), conducted between September 2025 and April 2026. The dataset includes 496 attendees of a 90-minute training session delivered by Family and Community Medicine residents in three secondary schools (IES Los Herran, IES San Prudencio, IES Escolapios). For each participant, three assessment blocks were collected: theoretical knowledge (AHA "CPR in Schools" questionnaire), self-confidence (Likert 1–5), and practical performance during the workshop (structured observation by two independent assessors). Two files are provided: the complete dataset (n = 496, with inclusion flag and exclusion reason) and the analysed cohort (n = 323, participants with complete data in the three blocks). A detailed codebook is included in the README file. Variables include sociodemographics, AHA test scores (pre and 2 months post), self-confidence (pre and post), global CPR performance score, compression quality (depth, rate, recoil, hands-off time, hand position), and protocol competencies (consciousness check, breathing check, EMS alert, AED request, pads placement, shock warning). The study was reviewed by the Research Ethics Committee of OSI Araba (file 2025-037, 18 July 2025), which determined that formal approval was not legally required given the observational nature of the study and the use of fully anonymised data.
