Replication Package - Micro-Frontend Adoption and Migration: Drivers, Challenges, and Practices

This repository contains the replication materials for a study investigating the adoption of micro-frontends in industrial practice. The study explores factors influencing the adoption of micro-frontends, including perceived drivers, encountered challenges, and reported implementation practices. Data were collected through a structured survey targeting Web developers with experience in micro-frontend architectures. The package includes the following files: Survey questionnaire.pdf - The complete questionnaire used to collect data from Web developers regarding their experiences with micro-frontend adoption. thematic-evidence.csv - Qualitative data provided by survey participants, annotated with the themes. themes.csv - List of themes resulting from the thematic analysis of qualitative data. unified-database.csv - Cleaned, fully anonymized responses to the questionnaire. All personally identifiable information has been removed to preserve participant confidentiality and comply with ethical research standards. The materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility during the peer-review process. Upon publication, the record will be updated with full bibliographic information and author details.
