资源简介:
This dataset contains measured labile, refractory, and total particulate trace element concentrations (Sr, Mo, Ba, W, Th, U, Cr, and Zn) of water bottle samples collected during GEOTRACES GN05 (PS100) on the Northeast Greenland Shelf (July and September 2016). Particulate trace element samples were collected using 24×12 L GoFlo bottles mounted on the ultra-clean CTD rosette following GEOTRACES sampling protocols (Cutter et al., 2017; https://www.geotraces.org). Seawater (1.2–4.1 L) was filtered through polyethersulfone (PES, Sartorius) membrane filters with a pore size of 0.2 μm. Labile particulate fractions were leached in a weak acid and a weak reducing agent for 2-hour. Total particulate concentrations were subsequently determined by a 15-hour reflux digestion at 150°C using a mixture of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. Refractory concentrations were calculated as the difference between total and labile fractions. Analytical accuracy and precision for labile and total particulate trace metals were assessed using certified reference materials BCR-414 and PACS-3. Detailed information on analytical procedures, reference materials, and limits of detection is provided in the associated published paper. The sample concentrations reflect the mean, and the corresponding uncertainty is calculated as the standard deviation to replicate measurements. Uncertainty is calculated as one standard deviation (1σ, STD) to replicate measurements via high-resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HR-ICP-MS). Quality flags (QF) were assigned in accordance with the GEOTRACES quality flag policy (https://www.geotraces.org/geotraces-quality-flag-policy/).
