Intrahepatic Aggregates of CD8+ T cell and B Cells are Associated with the Antiviral Response to Toll-Like Receptor 7 Agonist GS-9620

RNA-Seq analysis of GS-9620 treated chronic hepatitis B chimpanzees Overall design: HBV-infected chimpanzees were dosed orally 3 times per week for 4 weeks with 1 mg/kg GS-9620 (days 1-25) and then for 4 weeks with 2 mg/kg GS-9620 (days 31-57) with a 1 week rest between dosing cycles. GS-9620 was not administered to one animal (4x0139) on study days 43, 45 and 47 due to liver enzymes elevations after the first week of treatment at 2 mg/kg. Dosing of this animal resumed on day 50 and continued through end-of-study (day 57).
