150 years historical run from 1850-1999, including transient external and anthropogenic forcings (e.g. total solar irradiance, volcanic eruptions, tropospheric aerosols and well-mixed greenhouse gases). Based on BCM2.0 (Otterå et al. 2009, doi: 10.5194/gmd-2-197-2009). atmosphere: ARPEGE V3 T63L31 (cycle 22); ocean: NERSC-MICOM (based on MICOM V2.8), 24 vertical layers, 2.4(E-W) X 0.8(N-S) deg. res. near equator with gradual transformation to square grid cells away from equator (MNP2 grid); sea-ice: GELATO; coupler: OASIS2.2, correction of atmosphere-ocean heat and freshwater fluxes.
