EML芯片3dB带宽数据是通过是德科技网络分析仪N4373E测试得到。3dB带宽指通过EML芯片的信号幅值变成输入幅度的二分之根号二倍时对应的频率带宽,信号幅值的平方即为功率,平方后变为二分之一倍,在对数坐标中就是-3dB的位置,也就是半功率点,对应的带宽就是输出功率在减少至一半以前的频率带宽,3dB带宽表示在该带宽内集中了一半的功率。
The 3-dB bandwidth data of EML chips was measured using the Keysight Technologies N4373E network analyzer. The 3-dB bandwidth refers to the frequency bandwidth corresponding to the scenario where the signal amplitude passing through the EML chip decreases to √2/2 times the input amplitude. The square of the signal amplitude corresponds to the signal power; after squaring, the power becomes 1/2 of the original value, which aligns with the -3 dB position on the logarithmic scale, also termed the half-power point. The corresponding bandwidth is the frequency bandwidth at which the output power drops to half of its initial value, and the 3-dB bandwidth indicates that half of the total signal power is concentrated within this bandwidth.
