Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Woolgrowers Field, Towcester January 2021

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Woolgrowers Field, Towcester, Northamptonshire undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in January 2021. A small number of ditches possibly associated with the Romano-British period were identified, along with a small concentration of Early Saxon features including part of a possible wall, a bone pin/needle, a small fragment of perforated gold and stamp decorated pottery fragments. Post-medieval and early modern remains were also recorded within the trenches.
