The bacterial community of mixed silages prepared with drought-impaired grass as main component has not yet been investigated, but has a major impact on the conservation success in the silo. In this study, we investigated the microbial communities in different mixed silages prepared with drought-impaired grass as main component and the by-products sugar beet pulp, wheat gluten feed, and brewer`s grain. Further, we tested the effect of fresh anaerobic fungi culture supernatant and mixed ruminal fluid as silage additives.
