Democracy in Norway, 1981

This survey was conducted under the supervision of prof. William Lafferty at the Department of Political Science, University of Oslo. The objective of the project was to obtain information concerning who participates in the democratic process, and about what political and democratic values people held in the beginning of the 1980s. Respondents were also asked about their views on democratisation of local and vocational institutions. The survey also sought to develop knowledge of how values and preferences change in the course of life.
